The Permanent Commission of the General Council of the Judiciary has approved today the following statement: “The Permanent Commission of the General Council of the Judiciary expresses its condemnation of the military invasion of Ukraine carried out by the Russian Federation, with flagrant violation of the norms of International Law and violation of the most basic human rights, seeking to end the autonomy and independence of a sovereign State. For this reason, we declare our adherence to the statement made yesterday by the European Network of Justice Councils and the Network of Presidents of Supreme Courts of the European Union, making its content our own, demanding the immediate cessation of military aggression and the reestablishment of the legitimate constitutional order in Ukraine.
In the same way, we express our adherence to the pronouncements made by the legal groups of the national and international community, condemning this attack.
